Alice & JoAnn worked hard to get the schedule set up. Here was the itinerary:

Saturday, July 3, 1999
10:00 AM Club House at the Golf Course
About 12 people played a round of golf. The rest stayed inside the club house & talked & then we all had lunch...at least those who ordered early enough. As Duane said, it can be difficult getting food in Mapleton.

6:00 PM Maple Motel
Reintroductions & cocktails followed by dinner at 7:00 PM. Then a short program led by our Mistress of Ceremonies, Alice. Everyone told a funny story of an incident from school.

Those with some adventure in their souls went to the Community Center for the annual Fireman's Ball. Now, how long has it been since you have experienced the Mapleton's Fireman's Ball?? It was too good to pass up, I think.

Sunday, July 4, 1999

11 AM Belle of Sioux City Banquet Room
Change of plans again! They provided lunch for us--no brunch, so you could sleep a little later. So we ate breakfast & we all gathered in the banquet room for lunch. The cost of the lunch was approximately $4.50. What a bargain! This also included a fun pack!

3:00 PM - Mapleton parade & carnival
JoAnn has t-shirts for anyone who wants to buy them. They are maroon & gold with Class of 59 imprinted on them. The first 25 people will be able to buy them!

We were invited to the yard of Rodger and Linda Miller to watch Mapleton's fantastic fireworks display. Their back yard had everything... fireworks, an echo, fire flies, & even tree frogs! Talk about winding up our reunion with a BANG!!
